 My teachers' idea of my time is that it's divided into two parts: time for school, and time to do homework. Everything else, be it hobbies, school trips, holidays, is a waste of time, and if you do one of those things you're basically slacking off. Very. Very good point. I get up early, drive half an hour, work 10 hours for 4 days a week, and then drive home afterward? Whatever the hell I want. I get 3 days to do whatever I want, I can stay up as late as I want, get off work, and go straight to gaming. have more freedom of paying bills than I had in high-school. It's so exhausting to go to school, work part-time (because strict parents), go to clubs, and then manage homework. My work never makes me do assignments off

I hate that happened but were you letting them run freely onto other people's property? I'm not for poisoning any animals, that's a dick move, but you also bear some responsibility allowing them to roam outdoors, especially if you knew this was one of many risks they would/could face.
