 Oh. Well my wife's district (I'm mid credential) doesn't have people write out lesson plans. They just kind of say go. So just thinking and going, "Hmmm... I think I'll try this tomorrow." is totally normal and actually encouraged. They very much have a culture of I'll see your lesson; you don't need to write it out.We don't require our teachers to write out lesson plans per say and it would be difficult to enforce in a very large district (I'm in a gigantic one). For the experienced teachers who know the content like the back of their hand, lesson plans are truly just a formality - they know what will be happening and they can make adjustments as needed. Admins can definitely see if things are going right and wrong regardless
