 Oh. Well my wife's district (I'm mid credential) doesn't have people write out lesson plans. They just kind of say go. So just thinking and going, "Hmmm... I think I'll try this tomorrow." is totally normal and actually encouraged. They very much have a culture of I'll see your lesson; you don't need to write it out.We don't require our teachers to write out lesson plans per say and it would be difficult to enforce in a very large district (I'm in a gigantic one). For the experienced teachers who know the content like the back of their hand, lesson plans are truly just a formality - they know what will be happening and they can make adjustments as needed. Admins can definitely see if things are going right and wrong regardless

 I have a friend who got medically discharged from the US Army during boot camp. Jumped down off one of those rope&wall obstacles (like in Officer and a Gentleman) and blew out his knee. Claimed to be a mp for 4 years in Iraq. He claimed his rank was Sargent major but really was a E-2 private. He wears the military style boots and a hat with the Velcro for patches, dog tags out on display at all times even over his coat in the winter
