I'm sorry you're going through that, I empathize. Within the first month of moving in, huge cracks developed in the house and we could not use 2/3 doors. It was a fight, and we recouped a little money via the lawsuit, but really it's quite the headache.We were under contract for a house.... the inspector noted some irregularities with the foundation and suggested we have a structural engineer inspect it and make repairs if so determined. The sellers agreed and sent out this chucklestick to 'inspect' it and give it the green light. I'm a licensed engineer, but in a different field. I asked for his license number and he was a fucking surveyor. The seller kept playing games and delaying and we eventually backed out. The next week they sold to a real estate company and late last year it was sold to a homeowner. I still think it was shady and I hope they don't regret the purchase.

 I don't know that I'd go  A Woman Can Not Survive On Pizza Needs Dogs Paw Shirt that far, because it isn't our fault that assholes will use it, but assholes do use things like this to discredit our logic. For the record, I don't think this demonstrates an issue with the OPs logic whatsoever but that may not be the case for people who are looking for problems. I hate that happened but were you letting them run freely onto other people's property? I'm not for poisoning any animals, that's a dick move, but you also bear some responsibility allowing them to roam outdoors, especially if you knew this was one of many risks they would/could face.
