 My niece had a teacher who was basically forming her own cult of 3rd graders. She picked the most trustworthy kids in her class and would have them stay in during recess and talk about crazy things like chem trails and tin foil hat conspiracies. She made the kids promise not to tell their parents. My sister in law talked to the parents of the other kids in the group and they all went to the principal with their complaints. Turns out the teacher had schizophrenia and was no longer taking her medication. He had no intention on telling the district and we only found out because a news reporter from the town he was arrested in contacted our superintendent for a quote on the matter. He was let go immediately.Edit: Here is a link to the article and I've corrected the weight of the weed that he was transporting. Apparently this story has been retold so many times that the amount if weed increased substantially with every retelling.

 I don't know that I'd go  A Woman Can Not Survive On Pizza Needs Dogs Paw Shirt that far, because it isn't our fault that assholes will use it, but assholes do use things like this to discredit our logic. For the record, I don't think this demonstrates an issue with the OPs logic whatsoever but that may not be the case for people who are looking for problems. I hate that happened but were you letting them run freely onto other people's property? I'm not for poisoning any animals, that's a dick move, but you also bear some responsibility allowing them to roam outdoors, especially if you knew this was one of many risks they would/could face.
