 My dad was almost 40 when I was born and my mom was 36. I always had older parents and grew up with only one grandparent. I was adopted though do not uncommon for adoptees to have older parents. I’ve recently started looking for my biological family and found that my biological grandparents are only a few years older than my All I Need Today Is A Little Bit Of Teacher And Jesus Shirt parents. My husband's parents were very young when he was born so my parents feel weird about being closer to the age of my husband's grandparents than parents but it has never impacted me much.

 Oh. Well my wife's district (I'm mid credential) doesn't have people write out lesson plans. They just kind of say go. So just thinking and going, "Hmmm... I think I'll try this tomorrow." is totally normal and actually encouraged.
