It got to me for 2 reasons, 1-15 is way too young to lose the only parent you've known. 2-I moved to another country just before covid made every country shut down their borders, so our furniture and other belongings just arrived, almost 7 months later and we didn't even get to pack them. They are made characters. But they are to be diverse, not just with personalitys but looks too and that includes the body.  Oh. Well my wife's district (I'm mid credential) doesn't have people write out lesson plans. They just kind of say go. So just thinking and going, "Hmmm... I think I'll try this tomorrow." is totally normal and actually encouraged. They very much have a culture of I'll see your lesson; you don't need to write it out.We don't require our teachers to write out lesson plans per say and it would be difficult to enforce in a very large district (I'm in a gigantic one). For the experienced teachers who know the content like the back of their hand, lesson plans are truly just a formality - they know what will be happening and they can make adjustments as needed. Admins can definitely see if things are going right and wrong regardless
